Central (U.S.) defeated Africa & Middle East, 60-50 to win the inaugural Jr. NBA Boys World Championship. Taj Manning led all scorers with 20 points along with 15 rebounds, 6 blocks and 2 steals for Central (U.S.), while Mark Mitchell Jr. recorded 15 points, 15 rebounds and 2 steals in the game. Mohamed Maiga finished with a team-high 17 points to go with 12 rebounds and 4 steals for Africa & Middle East, with Marouf Moumine tallying 15 points, 10 rebounds, 2 steals and 2 blocks in the losing effort.
