Brazil may have been as the host of the Olympic and Paralympic Games, but it’s not the only country holding a major sporting competition. Some lesser known Central Asian sports including horseback wrestling, bone throwing and eagle hunting have been on display at the World Nomad Games in Kyrgyzstan. A stuntman was set alight during a performance at the games.

The American, 34, won 6-2 6-3 to pass Roger Federer in the all-time list of matches won at the tennis majors. Williams was beaten at the semi-final stage of the tournament by Czech 10th seed Karolina Pliskova.
